Andrew Crawford and Brandi Colt
Crawford Colt
(Andrew Crawford – Brandi Colt)
Somewhere between the mountain sounds of Appalachia and the spirit of traditional country music, you’ll find Brandi Colt and Andrew Crawford. The duo began as two songwriters getting together playing song swaps and writers rounds, but with the realization of how well their individual sounds fit together and with so many requests for duo performances, the next natural step was to form an act, now tagged, “Crawford Colt”. Crawford Colt has already shared the stage, opening shows for established artists like Sunny Sweeney, Josh Morningstar, Clint Park, 49 Winchester, and Creed Fisher with upcoming performances this year supporting artists like Little Texas, Alex Williams, Billy Don Burns, Kayla Ray, and more!
They are currently writing and recording their first album together, but you can listen to their solo projects on all major streaming platforms.
Easton Gowan
Easton Gowan
Easton Gowan is a 19-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist from Williamston, S.C., who has been playing a musical instrument since he was six years old. His passion for music led him to write his first original song, “My Bail” at the age of 16. He just recently recorded his original song at the legendary Capricorn Studio in Macon Georgia.
Gowan won Anderson County’s first-ever virtual singing competition that raised more than $40,000 for the United Way of Anderson County and will perform at Celebrate Anderson 2021 and on WSPA’s Your Carolina show
He was a featured singer in the concert, CLASSIC COUNTRY at MillTown Players for three shows recently where every show was sold out and is part of the NewSpring Fuse middle and high school band in Anderson, S.C.
Easton recently opened up for RCA Nashville recording artist Niko Moon at Mercer University in Macon Georgia.
He also is opening for Nashville recording artist John Michael Montgomery at Celebrate Anderson on Labor Day.
Marvin King Revue
Marvin King is a well-known blues guitarist from Upstate South Carolina. He has also played with gospel acts.
He plays his own music from his albums, ‘The Calling’ and ‘Huge In Europe,’ and includes some mini-tribute sets to Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan set, and maybe a Rolling Stones set.
The Marvin King Revue is a three-piece band with Tommy Bryan on drums, John Brookshire on bass, and King. “I like a trio because you have to fill up that void,” he said. “All three forces have to come together to make it sound full because obviously you don’t have a keyboard or a rhythm guitar filling all those gaps.” We welcome Marving King back to the Spring Water Festival.
Marvin King
Odyssey Band And Show
Odyssey is a seasoned local Party band based out of Williamston. They perform many genres of music including Pop, Shag, R&B from the 70s to current. Odyssey
Brooks Dixon
Brooks Dixon Band
Brooks Dixon began performing his original music as a student at Clemson University first taking the stage in 2012. Dixon’s acoustic performances lead to the recording of his first EP, the independently released “Stone Pile” in 2014.
Upon graduation of college, Brooks returned to his hometown of Greenville, South Carolina, where he quickly gained momentum playing the local bars and coffee shops, drawing comparisons to Folk-Pop icons James Taylor and Ray LaMontange. After meeting fellow Greenville Singer-Songwriter Sara Middleton. The two teamed up with other Greenville players to form the group “Brooks Dixon & The Noble Sound”. Shortly after, they found themselves performing their unique soulful harmonies for thousands at Downtown Alive. Dixon set out to Nashville to record a second EP “Weather the Storm” in early 2016. In large part, due to the band, Dixon found his songs taking on a fuller more robust Americana tone.
“Weather the Storm” lead to new heights for Brooks and the band, as they found their way on stage at numerous regional festivals and clubs throughout the Southeast. Shortened in name and members, the “Brooks Dixon Band” found cohesion with a 5 piece group, Dixon on vocals and guitar, Giffin’s smooth harmonies and occasional lead vocals, Shane Byler on the Drums, Ross Krieg on the Saxophone, and Bennett Dixon on the bass. The group hit the studio in early 2017 and released their first band single “Good Intentions” a song featuring a more upbeat take on Dixon’s songwriting.
In early 2018, Dixon released “White Roses” a 5 song EP drenched in Americana style. Utilizing a talented group of Nashville musicians, it presents a softer, more rustic side of Dixon’s songwriting and was met with acclaim by such blogs as Saving Country Music, Adobe & Teardrops, Wave of Good Noise, and Sleep Music. Despite this change in style, the continued success of the funky-folky-rock band, and the addition of Jake Watson on bass, lead to the beginning of a new debut album from the Brooks Dixon Band, titled “Pocketful of Dreams”. Set to release in late 2019, this album presents a fun, upbeat style meant to capture the essence of the Brooks Dixon Band’s live performances.
